Individual Therapy

When I first entered individual therapy as a young teen, I discovered a place in which my thoughts, feelings, and desires truly mattered.

All too often, we find ourselves in a reality that demands we ignore our truest, innermost self. And the longer we ignore, the more stuck we become in patterns that ultimately hurt us.

I work with adults and teenagers who are ready to become “unstuck” — from depression, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, addiction, unhealthy relationship dynamics, and other cycles of self-sabotage.

I use a combination of attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, CBT and DBT.

I also bring a sense of humor and empathy that comes from my own lived experience.

I provide a warm and safe environment for you to:

~ Understand your emotional experiences, both past and present.

~ Bring a loving awareness to the many different parts of yourself, especially those you are frustrated by or ashamed of.

~ Uncover (and rewrite!) the self-defeating narratives you have about yourself and your life.

~ Take strategic action towards the life you want, privileging progress over perfection.

~ Uncover the talents, gifts, and passions that are uniquely yours.

~ Make bold choices from a place of alignment with your values.
